Blommekloof is a picturesque and lush 16ha farm situated along the less-travelled Robinson Pass, (55km from Oudtshoorn & 35km from Mossel Bay)- with a renovated and spacious labourer's cottage.

Featuring three comfortable bedrooms (two of them ensuite), the cottage can easily accommodate a group of six - plus, there's a sleeper couch in the lounge for the late arrivals. The dining and fully equipped kitchen area are open-plan, and the spacious lounge has a fireplace. There's also a braai area outside, stocked with all the firewood you could hope to burn. Linen & towels are provided.

Blommekloof's authentic touches include red clay tiles, rough white-washed walls and old Cape furniture. The cottage is stocked with books to read (or swap), board games for rainy days, a new stove, fridge, etc - there's even a spare fridge for those extra crates of beer you intend shipping in!

Traditional farm buildings are spread across rolling green hills dotted with arum lilies, amazing birdlife, three dams to take a dip in or try your luck at hooking a bass (catch and release). Rods are provided for this purpose.

Fresh farm eggs are also available and from time to time fresh milk from our cows: Panda and Belle. In season you can pick arum lilies until they are coming out of your ears. Best of all, there is no TV and very little cellphone reception, so the gentle walks through fynbos and thick alien forest will help you through your hours of cold turkey!

Rate guide: R100pp - R200pp - depending on length of stay and number of guests.

Activities include: birdwatching, farm animals, fishing, mountain biking, spring flowers, stargazing, swimming, walking.

Come and chill out on our beautiful farm!
