Welcome to The Blou Laventel !Holiday Accommodation offered in Stilbaai, Garden Route - South Africa. Situated on the coast of the Southern Cape, Still Bay is a beautiful seaside resort known for its scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere. Together with nearby Jongensfontein and Melkhoutfontein, the area attracts people from all over the country, especially during the warm dry summer months. Visitors are offered wide open spaces, a tranquil river, white sandy beaches and the weather in which to enjoy it all – moderate days and still, languid evenings. WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER At the Blou Laventel we offer an upstairs appartment with 2 bedrooms, lounge/ kitchenette and bathroom. The Blou Laventel sleeps maximum 6 people (2 being children). The first bedroom sleeps 2 in a double bed and the second bedroom sleeps two adults in a double bed and two children in bunk beds. The appartment has a private entrance and is fully equipped with Lounge, TV and dining table. Kitchenette with Fridge, stove, microwave etc. The appartment has a wooden deck with braai facilities and a stunning view over the sea. Please note, no pets allowed and smoking is restricted to certain areas. Rates Upon Request
Interests, Attractions & Recreation - Whale watching (mid June to October)- Historical and architectural heritage, such as the two National monuments: the Palinggat and Jagersbosch homesteads. - Botanical gardens in Palingkloof and at Melkhoutfontein. - Nature Reserves: Pauline Bohnen, Geelkrans and private reserves. - Tame hand-fed eels viewed at the tourism Bureau at 11h00 daily, except Sundays. - Fish traps constructed by Strandlopers and visible at low tide. - Bird watching. - Various sporting amenities: Golf, bowls, squash, tennis, bisley, horse riding (in season), water sports, fishing, angling and scuba diving.- Hiking routes and leisure walks.- Local art route. - Soete Arbeid, the tourist craft workshop at Melkhoutfontein.
