Rookies can fly as a passenger on a tandem paragliding flight – all you need are sensible shoes and a camera! Or you can learn new skills on a 1-day instruction course. If you have more time, take part in the full license course, and for those who would like powered paragliding is also available. Ideal weather, good training slopes and expert instructors, will give you one of the safest and best places to learn. Equipment can also be rented by registered paragliders, and new equipment is on sale. Weather briefings, site recommendations, and SAHPA membership forms also available . Cloudbase Paragliding is a full time paragliding school, and has been running since 1994. Cloudbase Paragliding School fulfils and conforms to all the safety requirements as set by the South African Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association.
