MOSSEL BAY - THINGS TO DO

Mossel Bay is a coastal village situated on the Garden Route approximately half way between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. This popular holiday town has a lot to offer travellers - long stretches of white beach, perfect swimming conditions in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, mild all year around climate and an abundance of marine life.

Seal Island is home to a breeding colony of hundreds of seals and their cubs and they can be viewed from the daily cruise or from land. Dolphins sometimes in large schools also make regular visits to these shores and they can be viewed from land.

It is a sportsman’s and water sport enthusiast’s paradise having a wide variety of adventure sports facilities including shark cage diving, wreck diving, surfing, snorkeling and bungi jumping. Conventional sport facilities are also in abundance with golf, squash, tennis, indoor heated pools, horse riding and swimming.
