Stilbaai is known as the destination of dreams in modern South Africa with its natural setting, safe and tranquil community and fabulous beaches.

Muir Holiday flats, offer self catering accommodation within 5 minutes walking distance of the beach.

Eight well established cozy "flats" sleeping between four and six people. Each flat has two separate bedrooms and is fully furnished with bedding, towels a microwave TV plus Mnet and braai (BBC) facilities. The flats are ideally situated for a peaceful relaxing vacation in a quiet area within 5 minutes easy walking distance from the beach and harbour and with easy access to all local amenities.

Just off the N2, Stilbaai is so much more than expected with friendly people, a stress - and crime free way of life, safe swimming and white sandy beaches. Lappiesbaai Baai beach has been awarded the international eco label, blue flag status, ensuring unsoiled swimming water and well-trained lifeguards from November - February.

The area is rich in indigenous flora, and bird species and, offers whale watching, a mild climate and a wide range of accommodation. Modem amenities include shops, banks, restaurants, beauty palours, hair salons and medical services. There is a variety of sporting facilities like golf, bowls, hiking, angling and a renowned surfing point. Stilbaai is home to a number of historical sites and landmarks: ancient shell middens date back 3000 years, middle stone age artifacts of the world famous Blombos cave on display in the visitors centre, the opportunity to view, ancient fish traps or feeding the tame eels at the info centre is are all a must.

Along the Eden Country route you can experience homemade crafts, lavender - and olive farming and local cuisine at its best. One can also visit the redeveloped township of Melkhoufontein and its unique Soete Inval Botanical garden and Soete Arbeid Craft Centre.
