Not long ago, this forested area used to teem with elephant, buffalo and leopard, and even to-day, leopard, karakul, wild boar, buck, baboons, monkeys, smaller animals, beautiful birds and water fowl still inhabit the area. Whether you are interested in eco-tourism and natural heritage, or the exciting adventure tourist attractions of the Tsitsikamma and Storms River , or whether it is the night life and more sophisticated attractions of Plettenberg Bay you are after, this is an ideal destination for your stay on the Garden Route.
