Romonza at the Mossel Bay Harbour is a spacious 16 m ketch and the only Registered Passenger Boat in South Africa licensed to carry 50 persons for boat based whale watching. We offer Seal Island trips, as well as Sunset Cruises.

Seal Island Trips

Every hour on the hour from 10h00 to 17h00 all year round. Running commentary is given on sights en-route. We sail to Seal Island and stop for a close look at 3000 fascinating seals – don’t forget your camera!

Sunset cruises

Our Sunset Cruises are a relaxed and romantic cruise around Seal Island and the Bay. Booking is essential. (Cash Bar is available)

Enquiries are welcome about school groups, tour operators and private functions. Join us for a whale watching experience of a lifetime to observe the greatest mammal show on earth up close from June to November! Passengers are welcome to bring their own picnic baskets along!
