Milkwood Village, Wilderness, Garden Route

The name came about, as a result of the beautiful setting and a place to meet friends, away from street noises and pollution while overlooking a colourful plant Nursery.

Situated in the Milkwood Village complex of Wilderness, you meander along paths lined with pretty gardens under ancient Milkwood trees to your “rendezvous” at Rondé-View Café! THE place to relax and then enjoy the ambiance and delectablevariety of foods.

This place, makes you feel free – surrounded by nature, plenty of sunshine and fresh air, open decks, under umbrellas or in the cosy interior.

The compact menu caters for those who prefer good, fresh, wholesome, home-styled food. We do NOT do the “chips” thing!!! All our food is prepared either with fresh butter or olive oil and NO pork products are served here.

Turn Breakfast into an occasion and try the amazing “Omelettes”, or for the health conscious, the “Health in a Glass” is well worth tackling.

For those late risers who prefer to skip breakfast, an early lunch feasting on delicious “Quiches” or one of the delectable, freshly prepared salads, is a must. A secret recipe for our “Cheezas” are also an ever popular choice with locals.

A variety of seafood is also offered with the “Prawn Special” being the “Best in the West”!! Even the prawn connoisseur will ask for more! Our reputation with quality extends far and wide.

When it comes to “the meaty side of life” you can’t beat the “Slow Roasted Lamb Shanks”. And if Durban is your idea of good curry, then think again. The delicately spiced “Chicken Curry” with all the trimmings, is enjoyed by all.

End off the occasion with a little self indulgence and try the mouth watering homemade “Baked Cheesecake”, “Toffee Apple Pudding” or “Mini Pavlova”.

We obviously also offer Fantastic cappuccino and coffees, variety of teas and other beverages, Alcoholic and non Alcoholic, served with any one of the following – “Bar One Chocolate Cake”, “Home Made Carrot Cake”, “Orange Cake” plus good old “Cape Brandy Tart” will make your day! We are the only Café in Wilderness to offer this variety of cakes etc.!!
