VICTORIA BAY

Victoria Bay is undoubtedly the Southern Cape’s most charming and beautiful bay – and has been described by locals and tourists as ‘The Gem of the Garden Route”.

Situated just 9km from the town of George on the Garden Route, it is a great base from which to explore the whole region.

World class surfing, whale and dolphin watching, snorkelling, swimming, fishing and hiking are just a few of the activities to be enjoyed in Victoria Bay!

Victoria Bay offers fishing on the jetty and rocks adjacent to the beach. With its gently-sloping beach it is a safe swimming area. The big waves make it a surfing haven with regular big competitions being held here annually.

The dolphins and whales are a regular sight in the bay and can be seen from your tent or holiday home. This is the most awesome spot to watch Whales in whale season [ May to November ] and dolphins all year round from the comfort of your pillow. !

There is a hiking trail to the point of the cove. Golf courses in George and surrounding areas, shopping or just cruising along the N2 to all the neighbouring towns along the Garden Route will keep you busy all day!

There is a restaurant on the beach with a wonderful menu.

SEASIDE LIVING AT IT’S BEST!!
