Our complementary, scrumptious buffet style breakfast freshly prepared every morning consist of home-baked muffins, sweet pastries, muesli, yoghurt, cereals, cheese, preserves and fresh fruit is served on our breakfast patio or if you prefer in your room through a secret panel in the door from 7.30am. We also offer bacon and eggs with toast, and of course coffee, tea and fruit juice. ACCOMMODATION: All 15 rooms at Wayside Inn are brightly decorated with colourful details. Each unit has a private en-suite shower bathroom, heating, ceiling fan or air conditioning and a TV with SABC and 1 digital channel. Some rooms offer views of the area and other have a private balcony. Wayside Inn offers to its guests a laundry service upon request. It also has a 24-hour front desk service for the convenience of our guests. We do speak English, Afrikaans, Polish and Xhosa. THINGS TO DO: Surrounded by many stunning beaches, lakes, mountains, forest and rivers, Knysna gives you the opportunity to partake in many outdoor activities including tree canopy gliding, kloofing, and abseiling, boating, scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, hiking and paragliding. For golf enthusiasts, there is an abundance of world class golf courses including Pezula , Simola Golf Course and the Knysna Golf Course. Reception will be happy to book you tee times at discounted rates at the Simola and Pezula Golf courses. Animal lovers can enjoy bird watching (try and spot the beautiful, yet elusive Knysna Loerie), dolphin and whale watching, horse riding and oyster tours.
